The Internet Explorer teams have come together to create a public feedback database of which ordinary users can submit positive or negative feedback, as well as bugs about Windows Internet Explorer 7. It is housed on Microsoft Connect with their platform of bug submission, so there’s no need to download a beta client. All you need is a .NET Passport to sign in with, and report away as and when you please.

1. Go to Microsoft Connect and sign in with your .NET Passport credentials.
2. Click on Available Programs then select the Apply button on the Internet Explorer Feedback option.
3. To search for a bug, on the Internet Explorer Feedback main page, click on the Feedback button to search for a bug.

Note: to submit a bug, you need to search for it first. This saves time for filing duplicate bugs, but if you find a bug that relates to what you wanted to bug, please validate it or add a comment to it using the options available.

Not all bugs are fixed, because maybe they are not reproducible on later internal builds or it’s already been fixed. They do organise bugs in terms of importance, so if you have a spelling mistake bug, it might not be as important as the browser crashing for an unknown reason!
